With a range of different product displays in use in their countrywide beauty and cosmetics chain, MATAS wanted a one-stop product display system with a stringent look, that could conform to their different needs in sizes and shapes of product exhibitions, in their 280+ stores.
For the Christmas product push, MATAS was especially in need of quick and effective delivery of a large amount of product exhibition podiums that could present their product ranges elegantly in differing key spots in their storefront.
The Stengade (Helsingør) branch of the store did an excellent job of using the podiums in an effective and aesthetic way, presenting a multitude of products without making it overwhelming or messy.
The GRID product display system offers an aesthetic way to display your commerce, without overshadowing the products on show. Minimalistic and adjustable, the modular furniture system lends itself well to projects such as this, where a large quantity of display podiums need to be delivered in a short time frame. 160 odd stores have received GRID podiums in 2025, with at least another 72 getting product displays in the beginning of 2026, meaning GRID will have delivered product shelving and display podiums to around 230 MATAS shops in under a year, adding up to around 80% of MATAS' Denmark chain.
MATAS had a vision of a few different set sizes and forms of podiums that would fit in different ways into their existing shop design. Ranging from larger podiums that would be central to the individual shops and down to the podiums, to be used for their click-and-collect service, that are two and a half cube tall. Our design team helped making the designs come out so they would fit in whereever they were meant to and the assembly in Lynge has excelled in pre-assembling hundreds and hundreds of podiums in a short timespan.
