Danish manufacturer GRID System is a family-owned business founded by the Danish designer Peter J. Lassen in 2010. Peter designed the original cube – the GRID module – in 2004.
Peter saw GRID as the next evolutionary stage of his vision to create unprecedented flexibility in how we design our home and office and workplace interiors.
GRID is not just a shelf, chair, partition or conventional piece of furniture. It can be all of these things, but first and foremost, it is a structure not limited by its frame. A flexible structure for creating new spaces, figures and functions.
Built on these values, GRID aims to be the most flexible and future-proof modular furnishing system in the world.
Delivering the GRID System to a wide variety of segments, in all parts of the world, we delight in seeing the original cube used in diverse functions such as for room dividers, café and hotel interior, bookcases, stages, pop-up-shop frames, display stands, museum exhibition plinths, tiered seating units and much more. The possibilities are – as we enjoy putting it – endless.
By looking through our inspirational examples and references, we hope you too can be inspired for building something that suits just your need – and then we will be ready and waiting to make your vision become reality.
“Nothing compares to the beauty of an empty space, yet an empty space is not indefinite.
GRID delimits, defines and generates rhythm in a empty space.”
Peter J. Lassen
