GRID was a part of the beautiful Planted Cities at Stourhead National Trust in the UK. With the GRID module - the original cube designed by Peter J. Lassen - you can build exactly what you want and add plant boxes, shelves, sides, seats etc. The modules are available in white, grey and black. All modules, cross braces and specialised plywood top panels are durable, weather resistant and suitable for outdoor use.
Planted Cities is the first sustainable events and media platform promoting nature-based design. Their purpose is to reconnect people and spaces with nature. While running one of Europe’s leading design events, designjunction founder Debs Spencer realised the industry had a problem: it was wasteful and environmentally damaging. Planted presents a more sustainable vision of the future by showcasing beautiful design today which improves our tomorrow.
The cube is lightweight (less than 1 kilo per cube) and can be enforced with cross-braces adding strenght and stability. It is just like building with your favorite building blocks. After use you disassemble the structure, screw by screw, and the GRIDs are ready to be re-used. Truly sustainable interior system - also for outdoor use.

The original cube is made of fibreglass-reinforced nylon (PA6, 30% glass), which can be converted into granules and recycled. The frame holds the same solid colour throughout the material. It is also UV and heat resistant.
Each cube is 40 x 40 x 40 cm and can be connected to as many cubes as you can imagine - in all three dimensions.

Â
Issues like these can be alleviated with a truly modular system.
Â
If you are contemplating getting a modular furnishing solution, we are ready to advise and help design your next configuration to be futureproof and customized to the space you work with.
Â
We offer pre-configuration of your designs in the extend that transport allows us, and we will help you the rest of the way when the GRID arrives at the destination either via on site installation or remote communication and instruction. You can also see a bit more about the assembly itself in our assembly instructions.
Although we want to help you design the best modular furniture system for you, we pride ourselves in the GRID System being an intuitive and easy to master building experience, for both experienced interior designers as well as novices.Â
Â
You can design your own GRID configurations in the pCon Planner programme and send you design to us for expert guidance from our in house designers.
GRIDs modular furniture system consists of components that can be dismantled, reused or reconfigured, helping reduce costs over time. This also gives it a longer lifespan than conventional furniture, and it means you can use fewer resources by reconfiguring rather than replacing.
Modular setups can be customized to maximize every inch of space, making them ideal for small and open-plan offices alike.
Â
For instance, you can add storage, seating, or display functions as needed, and in that way ensure that each piece serves multiple purposes.
