Danish Design Centre used the white version of GRIDs orginal cube, to exhibit the selection of finalists and winners of the Danish Design Award 2017. Display walls and sculptural display units were customized with both print and open space for the exhibition.
The exhibition was a part of a larger demonstration and celebration of the difference, that design can make for individuals, companies, and society as a whole. The design exhibition took place atthe foyer of Dansk Industri, at the Copenhagen City Hall Square.
The adaptability of GRID Systems original cube makes the modular furniture ideally suited for an exhibition system, which can be easily moved around and altered in case there is a need for it.
Being lightweight enough to move around and easily build up, but also sturdy enough to be used as room-dividers, GRID can create small spaces in larger areas, in order to compartmentalize the experience of the exhibition.
GRIDs modular furniture lends itself well to build infographic walls such as this one. Whether using print or re-adhesive foils, the sidepaneled cubes can convey messaging in an engaging way for visitors of the Danish Design Centre.
