Le Klint Flagship Store, Copenhagen

The adaptable GRID system functions as displays, counter, and ceiling structure by lighting company LE KLINT. When a fresh look or new needs arises, the interior system is being re-designed into new units. The company with roots stretching back to renowned Danish architects such as the father of Danish Modern Kaare Klint, is known for its hand-folded lamps. Today LE KLINT combines original craftmanship with contemporary designs.

As space designer Tine Mouritsen wanted to create "the best possible setting to honour the legacy of Kaare Klint’s beautiful pleated lamps and the fine interior he did in the early days of Le klint. We opened up the rooms with white walls and a stringent décor for maximum attention on the light."

Why choose a modular furniture system?

Choosing a modular furnishing system as a business owner offers flexibility, cost-efficiency, and adaptability—key advantages in a fast-paced business environment.

Adaptability for growth and change

The GRID Modular furniture system is easy to rearrange, expand, or reduce, in order to suit changing needs. As businesses grow or shift focus, modular furniture allows you to adjust layouts without needing entirely new furniture.

Try to evaluate your needs and ask yourself as a business

  • How often do you need to either move location or move around on the same location?
  • Does your furniture always fit or are you forced to dispose of existing furniture in order to get new?
  • Do you have returning events where you don’t want to dispose of furniture every time?

Issues like these can be alleviated with a truly modular system.

If you are contemplating getting a modular furnishing solution, we are ready to advise and help design your next configuration to be futureproof and customized to the space you work with.

We offer pre-configuration of your designs  in the extend that transport allows us, and we will help you the rest of the way when the GRID arrives at the destination either via on site installation or remote communication and instruction. You can also see a bit more about the assembly itself in our assembly instructions.

Although we want to help you design the best modular furniture system for you, we pride ourselves in the GRID System being an intuitive and easy to master building experience, for both experienced interior designers as well as novices.

You can design your own GRID configurations in the pCon Planner programme and send you design to us for expert guidance from our in house designers.

Cost-Efficiency and a longer lifespan for furniture

GRIDs modular furniture system consists of components that can be dismantled, reused or reconfigured, helping reduce costs over time. This also gives it a longer lifespan than conventional furniture, and it means you can use fewer resources by reconfiguring rather than replacing.

Enhanced Space Utilization

Modular setups can be customized to maximize every inch of space, making them ideal for small and open-plan offices alike.

For instance, you can add storage, seating, or display functions as needed, and in that way ensure that each piece serves multiple purposes.
