Two seating islands were provided for the Royal Bank of Scotland Headquarters in Edinburgh in close collaboration between Michael Laird Architects, Tsunami Axis, and Icons of Denmark. Each structure can seat up to 50 people and are widely used for visitors and as a meeting point. The designs were made by Michael Laird Architects customised with mixed upholstered and unpadded seats making the units multi-functioning with mixed seating and table space. Project management, delivery and installation were completed by Tsunami Axis.
