Our founder, Peter J. Lassen, wanted GRID to be anything you wanted to create. "The beauty of empty space" invites creative designers, architects and artists to play with the original cube and build in all three dimensions. Truly modular and flexible. Perfect for exhibition pavilions like these from The Index Project (the Nobel prize of Design) in Copenhagen back in 2005. GRID pavilions were set up on five iconic Copenhagen squares and open spaces covered with opalescent or mirrored acrylic, reflecting the lights of the city in various ways.
The lightness of the original cube made it possible for the installation to achieve the size and scope it was aiming for. The cubes are easily preassembled in larger modules and put together on-site.
