Our founder, Peter J. Lassen, wanted GRID to be anything you wanted to create. "The beauty of empty space" invites creative designers, architects and artists to play with the original cube and build in all three dimensions. Truly modular and flexible. Perfect for exhibition pavilions like these from The Index Project (the Nobel prize of Design) in Copenhagen back in 2005. GRID pavilions were set up on five iconic Copenhagen squares and open spaces covered with opalescent or mirrored acrylic, reflecting the lights of the city in various ways.
The lightness of the original cube made it possible for the installation to achieve the size and scope it was aiming for. The cubes are easily preassembled in larger modules and put together on-site.
Choosing a modular furnishing system as a business owner offers flexibility, cost-efficiency, and adaptability—key advantages in a fast-paced business environment.
The GRID Modular furniture system is easy to rearrange, expand, or reduce, in order to suit changing needs. As businesses grow or shift focus, modular furniture allows you to adjust layouts without needing entirely new furniture.
Ask yourself as a business – how often do you need to either move location or move around on the same location? Does your furniture always fit or are you forced to dispose of existing furniture in order to get new? Issues like these can be alleviated with a truly modular system.
If you are in need of help with reconfiguring your GRID or if you are contemplating getting a modular furnishing solution, we are ready to advise and help design you next configuration to be flexible and customized to the space you work with.
Although we want to help you design the best modular furniture system for you, we pride ourselves in the GRID System being an intuitive and easy to master building experience, for both experienced interior designers as well as novices. You can design your own GRID configurations in the pCon Planner programme and send you design to us for expert guidance from our in house designers.
We offer pre-configuration of your designs in the extend that transport allows us, and we will help you the rest of the way when the GRID arrives at the destination either via on site installation or remote communication and instruction. You can also see a bit more about the assembly itself in our assembly instructions.
GRIDs modular furniture system consists of components that can be dismantled, reused or reconfigured, helping reduce costs over time. This also gives it a longer lifespan than conventional furniture, and it means you can use fewer resources by reconfiguring rather than replacing.
Modular setups can be customized to maximize every inch of space, making them ideal for small and open-plan offices alike. For instance, you can add storage, seating, or display functions as needed, and in that way ensure that each piece serves multiple purposes.
